SGI Has Offered Quality Language Teaching Since 1962
Saint George International (SGI) language school celebrates fifty years of quality language teaching next year having started teaching students in 1962.
London, UK (ePressReleases.org) Jan 3, 2012 - It continues to grow and develop its reputation as one of the UK's finest language schools and will be celebrating its achievements long after the final chorus of "Auld Lang Syne" ends and the new year begins.
The Beatles were yet to have their first number one hit when SGI began teaching foreign languages in 1962. During all this time the language school has retained its status as an independent family-owned language school but it has also developed into an internationally-recognised, quality accredited language training organisation. SGI now offers language courses all over the UK and, through a network of partner schools, throughout Europe.
As SGI enters its fiftieth year it now boasts a staff of over 2000 teachers, each of whom is a highly qualified native-speaker of the language that they teach. SGI is able to offer language courses anywhere in the UK through its network of teachers and has developed partnerships with schools across Europe to offer its students the opportunity to study abroad.
SGI has also developed into a teacher training organisation and offers courses for those looking to teach English to speakers of other languages. It has received validation from Trinity College London for its training.
SGI offers language courses to private students and to organisations. It has developed a client list that includes Coca Cola, Sony, Nokia, Apple, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, the Ministry of Defence and the United Nations. The quality of the school's language courses was recently confirmed when it was accredited as a Buying Solutions supplier of language skills training for the UK Public Sector. There are only three other language course suppliers to have received this accolade.
Further recognition of the quality of teaching at SGI has been its accreditation by EAQUALS, the European Association of Quality Language Services, for foreign language training and by the British Council for English language training.

In 1962 SGI established its reputation as the provider of one of the finest German courses London had to offer.
