UIC London: Double Winners

UIC London is continuing to provide first class eduction for their students, who come from around the world to study at the top school.

United Kingdom (ePressReleases.org) Dec 7, 2011 - All the hard work put in to developing the school's innovative teaching programme has paid off, and they are looking forward to building on their successes. With two prestigious awards under their belt, UIC London can only continue to go from strength to strength.

The first award they won was the British Council's ELTon Award for Digital Innovation. This award was given to UIC for their radio station project, known as the Communication Station. The project is aimed at students with an interest in radio and the media, who want to use that interest to help develop their English skills, and possibly work towards a career in the media sector. It provides them with real practice and experience in using English in a fresh, out-of-classroom context. They learn everything from scripting through to recording and even editing. Because it's a real, fast-moving environment, it proves a testing and fun way to learn English. Students take the Communication Station course in two-week blocks, and can take as many blocks as they like.

More recently, UIC London won the STAR Language School 2011 Award. This award is voted for by language travel agents, awarded to the school they believe offers the best products and service to their customers. It is a prestigious award, and one which UIC had to beat off a lot of tough competition to gain.
