Strong Competition In Foreign Language Market

The growth in the foreign language education market is quickly saturating the industry.

United Kingdom (ePressReleases.org) Aug 24, 2011 - A representative from St George International (SGI) recently stated that new foreign language institutes are popping up all over London every year. The exponential growth of the industry has led to fierce competition as schools vie to attract new clients.

Economic growth in the Far East is one of the principle reasons for the expansion of the foreign language market. South Korean, Chinese and Japanese citizens are all beginning to see foreign language ability as a gateway to the Western world. Parents in these countries are spending thousands of Pounds every year on English, French and Spanish lessons.

This new demand has been met by a sharp increase in the number of foreign language schools throughout the English speaking world. Parents, who pay for study abroad programmes, want their children to learn quickly and grow culturally. Today's language schools have to offer something that the parents find attractive. Older language institutes no longer have the security of a yearly influx of new clients. These schools have to find ways to pull clients away from the newer schools.

SGI, formed in 1962, is one of the more experienced language institutes in London. The school has responded to the increased competition by offering a range of additional activities to students. In June, SGI students were invited to join the school on a theatre trip, where they could enjoy a performance of 'Chicago'. In addition, students also played ten-pin bowling at Finsbury Park. SGI is attempting to separate itself from the competition by making the learning process seem relaxed. When students are placed into a relaxed environment, they learn faster because they don't feel restricted by risk of embarrassment.

The foreign language education market has become more competitive, but this isn't necessarily a negative thing. The new environment forces schools to improve the services they offer. Today, if you are looking for an English, Spanish, or German course London has unlimited quality options.
