French Summer Camp

Experiencing the Language Helps Students Learn French

No one ever said that learning French was easy. The French language has often been thought of as a language of the elite or one spoken by intellectuals.

United Kingdom (ePressReleases.org) Jan 17, 2011 - If French is not your native language, the pronunciation probably seems terribly complex and frustrating. The spelling isn't simple either. And most people will tell you that the French themselves are quite unforgiving with the many mistakes that non-native speakers of French inevitably make when they try to use the language. But don't let all that scare you! With good teachers, practice and the right environment, anyone can learn French.

One school is teaching non-native speakers just like you, not only to understand and speak French but also to live and experience the language. Their approach is one of the best ways to really learn a language. They make it fun so that their students love learning and speaking. With ESL (Ecole Suisse de Langues) you can study French in France or Switzerland. ESL is more than just a French summer camp. It is a place where students are challenged and motivated while having fun in the process. The school also helps students deal with the challenges that non-speakers face outside of the classroom.

Students are further motivated to learn and improve their languages abilities because there is much to see and experience in the cities where ESL holds its classes. In the Learn French in Montreux programme for example, the school is located on the city's main street on the banks of beautiful Lake Geneva. This beautiful area of Switzerland where French is the main language is one of the most visited by tourists. From the school, students have a wonderful view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. When they leave the school, they find many charming shops and lovely terraces around the lake. There are many opportunities to relax and chat with other students as well as with the locals.

If you want to learn French but have hesitated because of the fear that French is "too hard," it is time to stop letting fear hold you back. Studying with ESL in France or Switzerland is likely to be one of the most amazing experiences of your life. You won't regret it and you will soon be speaking French!
