Fancy a vacation across Europe this year?

The British Isles that form the heart of England are famous for its unpredictable weather and erratic climate. The winters are normally harsh, while in the summer temperatures soar, but the rain plays spoiler or cooler, depending on the prevailing weather.

UK has a wide variety of attractions for tourists of all kind. Fancy the sea side? Head to Brighton, Blackpool or Southport. Fancy some mountains? Head straight to the Scottish Highlands and en route soak up nature's extravagance in the Lake District while passing by Grasmere or Windermere. "Most people only associate London with travelling through the UK. While London is a must visit on any travel itinerary through England, there's so much more to explore", says Annette Bowling, a travel advisor in Manchester.

While many claim that budget travel within the United Kingdom is difficult, all you require is some careful planning in advance, and you will be able to cut your vacation expenses by over half. Compared to London hotels, lodging venues in the countryside are far cheaper. If you are interested in visiting a number of tourist hotspots in a limited number of days, travelling across England remains a great option.

If you are a student of history or are interested in world history, the British Isles is filled with places to explore. "No visit is complete without exploring the places where famous personalities lived and produced their best works, where wars were fought, and kingdoms defeated or created. The history of places here goes back to centuries B.C, and that's quite a lot of knowledge to soak in", says historian Andrew Royal.

UK also receives a lot of student tourists. Many prefer to travel to England to learn English UK while on summer vacations here, before preparing for further studies. The attraction of studying in the UK is of course the ability to live and study in a native English speaking country. More importantly, universities and institutes in Britain have the reputation of being world-class centres of knowledge and learning.
