Soaring Through the Air

Exelement has devised an all day package that will tempt almost everyone. Each participant will have one of the sleek gyrocopters waiting for them, and have the opportunity to fly around - and even take control of the vehicle themselves. The extreme experience takes you on the cockpit of a vehicle like no other you have seen before. These helicopters are part chopper and part plane: the aircraft has strong overhead blades that give it lift as well as a rear fan that pushes the gyrocopter forward. This activity gives you the unique opportunity to be inside a vehicle that provides the closest experience to actually flying: you are shielded from the winds by a small frame and fully transparent glass which makes you feel like you alone are the one doing the flying.

The adventure package is a favourite for those who are thinking about starting a PPL course (a course for flying gyroplanes) or those who are just curious about how it feels to handle one of these aircrafts on their own. All the helicopters are equipped with dual controls and each participant is joined by an experienced instructor during the flight. You take the captain's seat after you take off, and can later decide to let the instructor give you a flying tour or take the controls yourself during the flight.
